Please forward your nominations with supporting information for the following awards to the AAWA office at aawa@ocii.com. The selections will be made at the AAWA AGM June 9, 2018. Nomination must include contact information for both the nominator and nominee. Inclusion of nominee’s picture would be very helpful.
OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTOR: This award is to recognize individuals within the sport who have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities or service to any wrestling group within wrestling for the past year beyond their expected or normal role.
VOLUNTEER SERVICE: This award is to recognize those individuals who actively contribute to the delivery of club and AAWA programs but are neither coaches nor officials.
LIFETIME ACHEIVEMENT: This award is intended to recognize the coaches, officials and builders who, over a long period of time, contributed significantly to the development of wrestling in Alberta. These individuals must have been retired a minimum of two years.
