September 16 – 24, 2023 marks the nineth annual National Coaches Week.   It is a time to celebrate the positive impact coaches have on athletes and their communities across Canada.   The annual campaign is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play by saying #ThanksCoach.

To celebrate National Coaches Week and to show appreciation for Alberta coaches, the Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation Branch is discounting NCCP multi-sport modules offered in September.  Coaches can view the available courses on the NCCP Multi-Sport Calendar with registration for September courses opening on July 31.   It is recommended to register early as each module has limited availability and will sell out fast.
