It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bill Young. A staple of the Alberta Wrestling community for decades, Bill was a coach, teacher and mentor to many and a driving force behind the sport in Zone 2. He actively volunteered his time and knowledge on the AAWA Executive, including serving as the organization’s President. His impact on wrestling in the High River region is second to none and we know his legacy will be carried on by individuals who were moulded by his passion and dedication. Our most sincere condolences to Bill’s family, friends and the Zone 2 wrestling community.
