Alberta Wrestling is saddened to learn of the passing of Roman Serediuk. Inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame in 1978 in the builder category, Roman was a multiple-time provincial champion, a long-time official at the provincial and national level and a pioneering coach in Calgary, starting programs in both school systems, the University of Calgary and SAIT, leading SAIT to numerous ACAC championships. We send our condolences to his friends and family and thank him for his years of service to the sport of wrestling and its development in Alberta, an impact felt to this very day.
