Registration Information
Registration deadline: Wednesday March 5th at 9:00 pm.
Please send an email with your intent to register to Ella Burk at aawofficials@gmail.com with the following information:
- Club Name
- Number of athletes in each division (with male and female separated)
- Number of coaches attending
- Email and cell phone contact for head coach or team manager
A registration link will be sent out to teams who have pre-registered beginning Monday March 3rd. Pre-registration will be open until the registration deadline.
Weigh-ins completed at your home club on Wednesday March 5th.
Scratch Deadline: Friday March 7th at 8:00 pm
Divisions
The following divisions are grouped by registered exact weight:
Tyke Primary Male & Female (2019-2020) Tyke Elementary Male & Female (2017-2018) Novice Male & Female (2015-2016)
Kids Male & Female (2013-2014)
Junior High Male (2010-2012)
Weight classes: 34-37kg, 40kg, 43kg, 47kg, 51kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 76kg, 83kg, 83+kg (95kg maximum)
Junior High Female (2010-2012)
Weight Classes: 39-42kg, 46kg, 51kg, 56kg, 60kg, 65kg, 72kg, 80kg (90kg maximum)
***Athletes may only wrestle in ONE age division and ONE weight class**
***All athletes must be members of the Alberta Amateur Wrestling Association or their PTSO. Wrestlers can purchase a single-event AAWA membership for $10 at the event***
Entry Fee
$25.00 per wrestler
Schedule
Doors will open as early as 9:00 am for warm-up. Wrestling will tentatively begin at 10:00 am.
Session times will be sent out on Thursday March 6th after registration numbers are confirmed.
