Erica Wiebe, Tianna Kennett and, recent addition to the Dinos squad, Michelle Fazzari returned to international competition at Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers and Coaches Memorial Tournament in Kiev, Ukraine and the Matteo Pellicone Ranking Tournament in Rome, Italy. With the final Olympic qualification tournament looming, top competitors from around the world used both tournaments to prepare for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Already qualified for Tokyo, Erica Wiebe secured a bronze medal in Ukraine, followed by a gold medal in Italy. Michelle Fazzari, who looks to punch her ticket to a second Olympic Games in May, took gold in Rome, twice defeating former world champion Marianna Sastin of Hungary. Congrats to all the Wrestling Canada athletes and coach Paul Ragusa on a successful trip overseas!
