Erica Sharp

Erica made history as one of the initial female wrestlers to represent Canada at the Senior World Championships in 1993. Throughout a remarkable 16-year span, she proudly donned the Canadian colors at numerous international competitions. Garnering the title of 9-time Senior Canadian Champion, Erica showcased her tenacity on the global stage, securing six top 5 finishes at the Senior World Wrestling Championships. Notably, she clinched two prestigious medals, a silver in 1999 and a bronze in 2007, further solidifying her status as a prominent athlete in the wrestling realm.

Her exceptional wrestling journey further boasts an impressive record of four CIAU/CIS Championship victories with both the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta. Furthermore, she was recognized as the 1998 CIAU Women’s Outstanding Wrestler, underscoring her remarkable achievements in the sport.
