This past weekend, the Canadian Cadet National Team competed at the 2015 Cadet Pan-American Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico. Alberta was well-represented, with 3 team members and Cochrane’s Vern McNeice on the coaching staff. Cochrane’s Connor McNeice lead the way with a silver medal at 58 kg, defeating his first two opponents and facing a tough American in the final. Calgary’s Daniel Coles bounced back strong after a first round loss to the USA, claiming the bronze medal at 63 kg! Leduc’s Brianna Raymond finished just out of the medals. All three team members helped Canada attain team bronze in both the men’s and women’s freestyle events.
